- Change your NetID password at https://netid.uconn.edu from a wired connection.
- If you have changed your NetID later than March 4, 2008 then you do not have to perform this step.
- This will change your password for ALL applications that use NetID such as your Exchange/Huskymail account and HuskyCT
- On the main application screen, select Options
- On the next screen, select “Wi-Fi Connections”
- This will bring you to the Wi-Fi screen:
- Press the menu button and select New:
- On the next screen select Manually Add Network:
- Type the SSID (in all caps): UCONN-SECURE and click add:
- On the next screen, enter the information as follows, then click connect:
- Security Type: PEAP
- User Name: Your NetID
- Password: Your NetID Password
- CA Certificate: Comodo UTN USERFirst Hardware
- Inner link security: EAP-MS-CHAP v2
- Token: <None Selected>
- Server subject:
- Server SAN:
- The following screen will appear as it attempts to connect:
- After a few moments, the connection should succeed and you will be prompted to “Save this Wi-Fi Network as a Profile?” Name the profile UCONN-SECURE and select next.
- Your connection is now complete, click finish to exit the Wi-Fi setup.
